Originally found on the Yerf Historical Archive, this is how Grant "Lindgold" Preston saw my fursona, Quozl, from 1999.

I'm not particularly fond of vests....

His original description:
" Here's Quozl, a gentle skunk from Yiffnet, preparing the roses he always gives to any femfurs who come on channel. The colour of the flowers is significant. Pink roses generally symbolize grace and gentility, and the paleness of the colour conveys sociability and friendship. I think that's what Quozzie's trying to say. I liked the way this pic turned out after inking, so I pulled out the colour pencils and gave it the full treatment.

Quozl is me.

Considering the highly involved formal language of flowers meticulously worked out by Englishwomen in the 18th and 19th centuries, I guess you saw no need to be terribly confusing. :p

Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember this picture and your roses. It's amazing what coloured pencils can do, isn't it.

That's why so many artists invest in Prismacolors and other similar art-pencil sets... :)
