I've been trying to get pikachu's attack pattern and stance correct, on paper it looked ok, on the computer screen he looks fatter, maybe it's my eyes playing tricks on me or maybe i did something wrong.
Pikachu's always been a bit on the chubby side; it's more the design than anything else. Pikachu did slim down over the years, however, but it took the artists, like, a decade or so to slim Pikachu down.
