Journey fan art named after this song from the game's OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qizpBpHTzkU

This is one of the games I hold close to my heart. I had an epiphany from completing it that changed my life forever.

The destination does not concern me. For me, the meaning of life is the journey itself.

Your use of multiple hues and blending creates a perfectly dreamy atmosphere. You do not simply capture a feeling of an already established concept. You expand upon it in your own way that proves a charming and most calming work certainly pleasant to the eyes. Makes one's mind believe of walking upon the sand, snow or even the clouds themselves. Do keep up the good work now.

I'd hope so, this game means so much to me. I took what it gave me and recreated it...by accident. The initial image was a big watercolor brush that I just made random smears with. I saw the mountain and sand shapes in it and was reminded of my epiphany.

Also, I cheated with the hues. It was originally very purple, I made it more blue with the HSL settings and added greenish-yellow to parts of the mask where the light hit. I then used a soft eraser to preserve the white in the stars and top of the mountain. It was neat because I almost never use post-processing like that and I liked the break from my usual routine.
