You couldn’t find two individuals more diametrically opposed if you tried. One was a jack-of-all-sciences polymorph who found the concept of pocket monsters to be exorbitantly trivial. The other was a proud mammal of superfluidic hoarfrost and rime who valued her solidary as much as her sustenance. Yet, when the two met, there was a level of inaudible sympatico that drove them to association and eventually teaming up – striking an accord that would meet both of their mandates and petitions while still effectively making them a unit. Aneira and Tahajin; two vigilantes united by a common motive and a single modus operandi that they both delighted in: the disposal of particularly egregious ne’er-do-wells by ways of devouring them. At all hours of the day, bystanders would catch a glimpse of a shadow with a glistening coat tailing whatever was the wig-wag de jour, scarpering from crime scenes before the arrival of the police leaving it uncannily ‘culprit-less’. They still tend to fuss and fight before missions, but their combination is both flawless choreographed and incredibly formidable. If you ever do run across these two during the rare occasion where they’ll join forces – you might as well just surrender. It’ll save you the trouble of looking like a nonce for fighting a force of nature. |
