or those too young to know, this guy made many cartoons during the 60s 70s and 80s

some of the most well known series created by filmation is he-man, she-ra, brave starr, and even the star trek animated series.

filmation was one of the last studios to animate cartoons in the USA.  his passing his is very sad...  here is a list of cartoon and live action shows his studio created.
