Well, there is a mutant breed of mice that has no fur (does have whiskers) and they do NOT look pretty at all. Grotesque. Also the Naked Mole Rats do not look pretty.
I am also reminded of AlexReynard's weird story "All you can eat" where 2 kids ,Bartelby Fletch and Xander Oakley report for "cafeteria duty": being cooked and eaten ALIVE. In that world, Death can not enter and being mutilated or killed is quite pleasurable and healing/regeneration even from NOTHING is almost instant. One stage is being defurred by a special shower. Xander says that Bartelby looks sexy after being defurred and Bartelby says :"I look sexy? You're weird ! I look like a giant fetus" and he headbutts Xander !
Be aware that there is a lot of sex in AlexReynard's stories, as well. It really does not advance the story.
