This is a commission I was really looking forward to asking for from someone I could more easily afford. The style here is really very comic bookish, rather than the realistic humans/cartoon furries style I was envisioning, but that's really not a big quibble given the price. This picture still rocks in my opinion.

This is a sort of group shot for a video game Idead I have been brewing in my mind for a few months now; a rather typical Final Fight/Streets of Rage clone with the gimmick of being in a Roger Rabbit style universe. The excuse plot goes like this:

"Earth T is an alternate universe where humans and living cartoons coexist. The two different sets of physics have come to interact with each other in unusual ways, allowing humans to perform their own forms of artistic license with the world around them. Not in any way that tampers with their own biology, only the physics around them. Human life is still fragile, and toons are not entirely immortal.

"While there could be a lot written on the history in which humans and toons have evolved to live together, this is not important right now. All that matters is what's going on now.

"The time is sometime in the 2010s. The city is Freleng Falls, and there's a real crime problem.

"A gang known as the Silhouette Hoods has the city in its grips. Vandals, robbers and murderers, this gang has taken to doing whatever it wants without fear or repercussions, knowing that the authorities have been bought off or cowed into doing nothing about their activities. As the people live in fear, they hold out for someone brave enough to free Freleng Falls from the Silhouette Hoods.

"Four citizens gave up holding out. They believe that Freleng Falls' freedom is worth fighting for. They have decided that it's time to take the fight out to the streets."

As for the characters, here they are:

Samson Thomas (Left) is an African-American human who used to be a police officer, but quit in order to stay out of taking bribes from the Silhouette Hoods gang. He has been spending a lot of time familiarizing himself with the city and forming a plan to strike at the Silhouette Hoods' biggest hotspots, dismantling the gang over time. As a fighter, Samson is a strong character, but not exactly the model of speed. He's rather like Mike Hagger of Final Fight or Adam from the original Streets of Rage.

Luisa Montoya (Top) is a hispanic woman who has grown up on the mean streets and has even done a bit of street fighting to help make ends meet for her family. When her parents refused to pay protection money to the Silhouette Hoods, they were murdered and Luisa promised to avenge them by helping to take the gang down. As a fighter, Luisa is a generalist with a slight leaning towards strength on account of being a human.

Belladonna "Belfrie" Frie is a toon bat who has been training since she could walk in the uniquely toon martial art of Wakido, which takes cartoon slapstick and turns it into a way to actually fight. However, just because she's a disciplined martial artist doesn't mean that she's got no sense of humor. After all, when your fighting techniques include the use of hidden joy buzzers and using your own head like a bowling ball (and popping a new one in place with a tug of your tail), you can't help but accept how silly your fighting style is. Her motivation for joining with the heroes is because her mentor thought it'd be a good job for her. And she was eager to do something for her home community anyway. As a fighter, Belfrie is very much a speed oriented character, sacrificing brute strength in the process.

Ralph Felix (front) is a feline gym owner who has adapted many athletic pursuits into his fighting style. Having been quite outspoken against the Silhouette Hoods, he has found himself attracting quite a bit of vandalism to his establishment. He has decided to put his money where his mouth is by putting his knuckles where their mouths are. His style, and his "Burning Claw" technique is quite similar to Axel from Streets of Rage. (Interestingly, I actually used to mishear his "Bare Knuckle" as "Burning Claw). As a fighter, Ralph is also a generalist like Luisa, but favoring speed because he is a toon and a cat.

The massive document that comes with it is mine.

This is just a set of ideas for a beat-em-up game (akin to Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and Konami's TMNT arcade games) organized (kinda) and put out largely because one of my friends wanted to see more stuff from me put out on the net. I just put in some pet ideas and I must admit that I am not an avid video game player (I don't even count as a casual video gamer, to be honest), so not only are a lot of the ideas present sorely outdated, but the items system has probably already been implemented.
