This is, without a doubt, the most elaborate and detailed page to date. It took me about a week to do it all, and even with some models and stock footage, I pretty much did the artwork by hand. Eventually I got to the point which was a good stopping point for me. Where I do think that I could do better, but I just didn’t want to add another stroke of ink pen, tablet stylus of paintbrush function to the blasted file and just wanted it put in the buffer and be done with it.
That usually is the case when I was in college and it usually results in a good grade.
That, and I’m sure that these more elaborate pieces—which I’m certain they’ll be more of—will get better as I go along. (After all, I haven’t even reached 50 strips yet!)
But anyway, here’s the debut of where Johnny’s [former] hometown. Where the general rule is “If the humans pitch it and we pick it up, it don’t count as stealing.”
