It has been said that in every normal person, an Oz story exists. Whether or not true, this is from mine ! It was at the peak of my writing phase. It was book 7 in my fan-fics, and I burned out with book 11, unable to set my ideas to paper any more.

Hm, such an odd but interesting telling. I'll admit I was captivated to wonder more about who just exactly I was reading about.

It's a page from my Oz novel: CASPER IN OZ. I'm currently summarizing it for a correspondent here.

Somebody said that every normal person has an Oz book within him/her. Well, this is mine.

This is actually rather charming and fun to read.  Furthermore, the illustrations in the margin on the other pages give a sense of a travelogue, of the adventurers making notes as they proceed.  You did a good job here. :)

Yes, this story -and the pages you refer to- are to me the peak of my writing.
A map at the opening pages is attributed to Wendy -and any awkwardness is blamed on her having to draw it on her knee, a tree, a rock or some other inadequate surface.

And gives a bit of authenticity to the map while at the same time handwaving why it might not quite match other depictions of Oz.
