Invader Name: Lowfat Spinach Stuffed Fishsticks
Official Name: Ekiipi Auq'tac
Height: 4’8’’ (but a decent deal taller if you count its giant ears)
Technical Gender: Male
Species: Aquatic Qwuedeviv
Official Specialty: Assist
Disguised As: Nothing really, it just wears a giant bow.
Appearance: Fishsticks has periwinkle tinged fur with deep blue covering the majority of its back and meeting in a ragged, splotchy wave along its sides. Two wavy black stripes curve around the front of its neck and upper chest. It has a relatively short fin between its shoulder blades that extends down as well as two, long, jellyfish like stingers. To either side of its head, it has two, thin, whiskery feelers that are quite sensitive to touching anything (note that does not mean it HURTS them). Its hands are white with a black stripe and a ring of black over the top. Five sets of white rings uniformly line its dark blue pattern in two columns. The tips of its ears are black with a single white filled black ring on the back. Its face is splashed by speckles of blue appearing as freckles. The sclera of Fishstick’s eyes are a bright cyan whereas its pupils are a simple blue. Its tail is wide and flat retaining a sort of rubbery composition; the majority of it is white, with black tip and magenta eye towards the end. Two oval spots of dark blue line the back of it. It has a small silver clip in one ear.
Fishsticks’ invader uniform is a denim shade of blue; the Qwuedeviv is rarely seen wearing the full thing. Although not part of the official invader uniform, Fishsticks is always wearing a black harness that has quite a few supportive straps to keep it from coming off too easily. It also has bands around its wrists and ankles. None of this is by choice for it.
Fishsticks’ ‘disguise’ consists simply of a white shirt that is too long for it as well as a giant pink bow that ties behind its head.
Personality: Fishsticks has a somewhat unpredictable personality. It may react differently in the same situation with all the same circumstances for no apparent reason. Normally it will side with whatever DN Refrigerate decides on.
Fishsticks definitely has an invader mentality though—the maniacal laughter and evil world ruler complex similar to that of Smiley’s. Given neither are particularly amazing at thinking through plans or decisions, Smiley and Fishsticks together could probably could ruin all the Qwuedeviv’s plans in a single day.
Fishsticks is excited to be a part of the crew and is willing to take on any task it thinks is important, but it has no patience to speak of. On the bright side, Fishsticks isn’t one to be easily insulted by remarks. It can look a bit hollow or blank at times as if it doesn’t comprehend a thing that is being said and has been known to make some pretty unintelligent mistakes and comments.
Fishsticks does have a brain though, contrary to what some of the crew may believe. It’s just going through the sort of unintelligent, awkward, teenage Qwuedeviv stage. On occasion it can be remarkably lazy and has been known to be ‘off in its own little world.’ That is, Fishsticks does not always pay attention to what is going on.
Fishsticks’ wild eyed gaze is actually not hugely uncommon amongst Qwuedeviv and is not considered to be a negative trait—they are invaders after all. Sometimes the others within the crew find them a bit unnerving since Fishsticks’ expression does not shift with its moods particularly smoothly.
Fishsticks is easily startled so caution must be had when approaching the unsuspecting Qwuedeviv. It has become best acquainted with DN Refrigerate who keeps it tied at its side so that it and Smiley don’t get any amazing plans and also to keep track of it when working; Fishsticks has a tendency to wander from time to time. It isn’t always tied to DN, only in situations where its sudden change of plans could prove very dangerous for all parties involved.
They both live with an elderly couple who own an old butcher shop. For some strange reason the couple is under the impression that DN Refrigerate is their son and Fishsticks, their granddaughter.
Neither alien seems to particularly mind the Humans’ claims as they have always been perfectly welcome in the home and have run into no issues. From time to time the couple vacations and leaves them in charge of the butcher shop and home—both of which they seem to manage just fine.
So unlike the rest of Crew 52, DN and Fishsticks are usually elsewhere. They joined the others in Cedric’s home briefly, but found it much too crowded and tense, preferring to go back to their previous situation.
The feelers to the sides of its head are incredibly sensitive, making the Qwuedeviv a bit paranoid of things nearby ‘sneaking up’ on it.
Fishsticks can laugh in a relatively distant and disconnected manner for hours on end, usually until DN Refrigerate makes it snap out of it.
Fishsticks loves its giant bow.
Fishsticks loves to swim.
Spork can’t stand Fishstick’s ‘stupidity.’
If startled, Fishsticks will attack, but seems to realize who its allies are after a short while and will let go—of course that doesn’t save them from getting bitten or something similar though.
