hey i have a tip for ya, when you draw in photoshop, you have a white layer. Dont draw in this layer. create a new layer, this new layer if transparent, you should draw the lineart in this layer, after you finish the lineart, you create a new layer below the lineart layer, and you use the polygonal lasso tool ( http://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/selections/p... ) and select the parts that you're going to paint with the same color. when you finish selecting all you the bucket tool and you're done. create a new layer, and do the same, but now for other color. try it, you'll see the difference :)

My 1st pick with shade was done with paint tool sai. figured since i had both id try em out. but for the most i know my skills will improve by learning the full extent of either adobe or paint tool sai and all so speed up my art drawing time. i do plan on buying the latest version of adobe----cs6 is it? the cost for it is round $500 but i feel its worth it and it wont be to much of a loss if i end up not making art. unlikely that ill stop. its just a matter of saving up for cs6. time will tell.
