So I decided to make this poster as an answer of sorts to the horrible things I saw and read on Tuesday on certain places which made me lose hope in humanity. I'm still recovering from it but I'll be fine, I promise! And no I won't link the crap I saw and read because you don't deserve to have your day ruined. And excuse the language because I also want to say some stuff regarding, which means this post may also double as a "vent art" of sorts.

But first let's talk about the image: I want you to take a good look at this image, and see how two longest rivals are just having some fun together playing games, with Mario playing Sonic 2 on a Sega Genesis while Sonic browses a game to play on his Nintendo Switch.
This picture may seem odd to some but I want this to show that instead of duking it out they just want to hang out together like good friends and talk about all sorts of good stuff. Instead of taking the path of hate they decided to let their differences in the past to have fun and nothing else.

What do I mean with this ? It's that the other day I saw the opposite of this image: I saw how much petty, evil, sick on the head and heart, grotesque, creepy, disturbing, cruel, judgemental and sinister humanity can be in all senses, with people even trying to justify their witch hunting, acts and attitudes fueled by hate, grudge, remorse, lack of self-esteem and prejudice as something "rightful", and the worst part is that this kind of horrible stuff comes from even those who claim to be "the good guys", to be on the "right side of the history" and those who claim to "fight for justice". Do you feel like a hero yet ?

You know, this reminds me from what a certain stand-up artist once said: "fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity", because that's what's happening: instead of taking a better path and do something else more productive or even generous certain people decide it's a better option to fight each other and what they perceive as "evil" by any means, even if it means fighting hate and degeneracy with even more hate and degeneracy.
I mean, what happened to the likes of Ephesians 6:12  ? "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Instead of going to the source of the supposed "evil", discuss and bring said issues to light in order to contribute to a better world people decide it's a good idea to just duke it out with strangers both online and offline to see who's the best and have the higher ground because it feels soooo good to be the hero of the story, isn't it ? And it's not new that humanity decides to solve things by violence instead of a good conversation due to survival, commercial or even other obscure reasons. No wonder you see on some, if not mostly covers of public media content people doing "heroic" poses with guns and other sort of weapons front center right in the middle of the cover for everyone to see even when it's not an action movie because we're naturally conditioned to believe that violence is "good" and can be the universal answer to all problems of the world, which's why there's probably even some bozos out there wishing to see the world "cleansed" by a nuclear war of a supposed World War 3 so this "shithole of a world can start over again" without realizing that they themselves will be erased as well sooner or later. And I have the impression you probably know someone who thinks like this. Hint: stay far away from this kind of person ASAP and cut any and every communication with them!

And don't get me started on people who judge you based on your riches and/or will ignore you based on your popularity, reputation and brand recognition. I mean, what's the point ?
Being rich and famous will only get you to have more notoriety and give the (false) impression you can be trusted, be worth of all good things and forgiven even if you make the most stupid and controversial things possible. Just like having a religion is not always synonym of a person of character so does having all sorts of riches doesn't make you believable or trustable all of sudden.
Trust is a fragile thing which takes years to be built and seconds to be destroyed so remember that.

There's also people who enjoy telling you what you can and can't do with your art and lifestyle and boss you around yet they themselves don't lift a finger to change their own life and those around them in a positive way with attitudes, for more "small" and "irrelevant" they can be, let alone make a good contribution to a better world.
I say screw them: this is my gallery and I'll post what I want and make the posters I want, because the only people who are worthy of my respect as an artist are my public, watchers, friends and patrons, not opinionated strangers who are from the same sort of "keyboard warriors" and "internet tough guys" you see online with frequency.
I firmly believe that my posters can be a positive change to someone's life for the better, be they're wholesome SFW arts like this one or the most "raunchy" NSFW stuffyou can imagine to satisfy their libido. If this and my other posters makes the day of someone a little less somber then my job is done and my mission was a success. I'm sorry but I'm not gonna censor myself because certain people somehow hold the authority to decide what's right or wrong for everyone's life, fuck that noise! If you like what you see in my gallery that's great but if you don't like it just go away instead of wasting time, both mine and yours, and save your abrasive opinions for someone who cares about them. I'll keep on making my posters to please my audience while you bitch some more and backseat moderate in your wildest dreams without doing anything of value, living a pathetic life witch hunting and stalking people for no other reason than satisfy your fragile ego.

As to quote a certain pacifist: "We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do."

In other words: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Also don't be generous for the sake of getting brownie points with people or as some sort of obligation: do it because you feel like doing so without second intentions and with honesty in your actions for both yourself and those around you. It'll be better this way, trust me.

So instead of taking the easier, violent route, and pollute your mind with bad shit and doom-scrolling just do the opposite: go look on Youtube for wholesome videos showing acts of generosity, look for meditation, post good stuff in your timelines and art sites like I'm doing right now, practice being grateful for your life, start doing small acts of generosity (No, you don't necessarily need to start donating to the poor or give new cars to strangers all of sudden. Let this be a journey, ok ? And remember to be honest with your actions.) and so on. Be the better person instead of being just another person consumed by hate and grudge for the rest of your life. Aim to be the best version of yourself, every day.

You know, this is can be also some sort of good knowledge for myself as well. I'll make sure to bookmark this stuff for later, heh.

Meanwhile I want you to stay with the videos below:
