no idea... you can decide that. Luckily, he'll live. I love strong emotional pics.

Is Junior wearing a neck brace?

Cartoon special effects by their nature have to be somewhat dangerous to look as hilarious and exaggerated as they are. the TNT and ACME's other explosive props are designed to maximize effect for the cameras. For trained toons, on the soundstage with everybody around them that they need, they pose no greater a threat than singed fur.
But Junior is not yet trained in the finer points of cartoon short pyrotechnics. The fire marshals, the SFX techs and stunt coaches that Poppa Sly had backing him up in every WB short, were not present when Junior found some of his dad's old prop dynamite sticks and mistook them for firecrackers.
Toontown Pediatrics ER are not unaccustomed to seeing junior toons getting into their parents' stuff they're not ready for, but this was Sly's first Red Alert-class Father Moment.
Bugs got the word of Junior's mishap through Buster, and is flying in from NYC. Elmer and Wile are also on their way, and Tweety, doing his live show tour in Japan, e-mailed his lawers in Hollywood with orders to get the Sylvester family whatever they need during this kind of "boom shot" aftermath that no-one wants to see.

I would never have committed to the idea that Sylvester could do this to his son. For me, Sylvester did not have time to react to save Junior before the accident. I have some ideas what could have happened but it does not matter anymore Junior is safe. The question is whether Sylvester forgive himself for what happened.

Great art even if it is very sad and tragic

Please send £1 every month for the Sylvester Jr. ACME Destruction Education Foundation, to save young toons' lives from the pain they endure from travelling the same paths as their elders.

Poor Jr. ;_;
