This is probably one of my favorite old pictures I made back in 2017 (2017 was a busy year for me for artwork lol) When learning about Oswald I felt bad for him ya know? I mean he's barely around anymore, Disney ditched him for Mickey because he was more popular, just sad times to be a cartoon when you can be thrown away like that. I even came up with a little verse for this:
"I watch my Kingdom from my window almost every night. Seeing my Wasteland slowly slumber in as the streets become silent. It is a place of supposed paradise, where toons like I can have a place to go when our time is over. It is not perfect, no, but I suppose I will call it home. The trolley no longer works, the buildings have some cracks, and even some buildings are lopsided; it doesn't seem to bother anyone. I try my hardest to make sure everyone is happy, I even try to make myself happy at times. My days in Disney may be over, but I still have a duty. A duty I've let myself have, that I accepted. To be King, to protect, to love all toons that are placed here. It is my only job now, it is the only thing I have to offer now. Everyone respects me, everyone loves me here. Yet, I still have a shallow feeling inside, the days of where I was on T.V letting everyone who wasn't a toon love me as well. As the passing generation goes by, I know a lot may have...forgotten me. They do not remember this rabbit that Walt has made so long ago. However, I know...deep in my toon heart, there are some out there, who still know my name...Oswald. Let's hope they never forget, the forgotten."
Sorry for the D.A watermark, my old picture of this is in my other external hard drive which is hidden away for safety since I'm using a new one. As you can imagine that my files get full FAST with both animations, videos upon videos, recordings of gameplays, sound effects, voice acting clips, pictures for videos, program files etc. So my stuff fills very fast. Even with 1TB it fills like no tomorrow lol
