For a time, Nadahi signed onto the crew of a sailing ship to fulfill her sense of adventure. She loved the high seas. The sun, ocean spray and the salty air in her fur, the creaks and groans of the ship, and the feel of the wooden deck beneath her feet. She loved the shanties that carried on a warm breeze and the shrill Bosun's whistle, the rolling waves to rock her to sleep at night. The work was backbreaking; the life was unforgettable.
