This pic was based on a dream (REM sleep) I had on 1/20/22. I remember most of the vivid details:
I was in the hospital, but the area I was in looked very much like one of the units of the nursing home I work at. I saw my grandmother at the opening of the "unit" and I greeted her. I thought nothing of it (She passed away in December). When I went into a hospital room behind me, I looked on my right and in two beds lie my characters, Echo and Firework. They were bandaged, hurt, and sleeping. I pulled up in a swivel seat alongside Echo and he was the first to wake up. I remember talking to him. I don’t know what I said but I remember talking to him… Firework was still asleep, so I let him rest as I glanced at him. I then woke up and it was 4:40 in the morning.
That was one of the greatest dreams I ever had because I actually got to see and meet my characters! I tried recreating that scene, but it's not 100% accurate. I was also a little happy to see my grandmother again in a dream.
Here in this pic, I would imagine Echo and Firework get badly injured from an unknown event and put into the hospital. I know it doesn't make too much sense for Echo to be there since he's a robot, but I like to treat him like he's a person. As for the hospital room, I had to try and draw the beds, and also the patient table and IV stand. I am familiar with that because I work in healthcare.
