This image is from the scroll "Papyrus of Hunefer‎". The image shows the mourning family of Hunefer and the god Anubis (who was probably a local priest in costume) carrying out the "Opening of the Mouth" ritual.

The god Anubis was the most important god of my family, according to family lore. I don't know if this is true or not, but it is remarkable that he is often mentioned in old stories and he's often treated with big respect. Is that why I became a furry?
