Alan, we get it. You're angry because your life was a constant struggle. Your brother needs constant care because of the severe brain damage he brought upon himself. Your parents died in a car accident that could have been prevent if they haven't been blinded by fear and panic. The sister your parents adopted left you behind to look after your brothers, and you needed a way to make ends meet.
That does NOT excuse you from blackmailing, extorting, and abusing the person you believe caused your life to crumble.
I know it's weird to lecture a fictional character, but Alan is heading towards a future that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Or maybe he's already there, and we're just waiting for that moment where his anger finally bites him in the ass.
