Chapter 14.

Jill is cleaning the office. The staff is wandering around the building to see if the others are doing their chores right. Being trustworthy, Jill is allowed to do the office alone. Normally, one of the staff would be sitting there, maybe doing some work. It's a big plus that there is nobody around. Jill has all the space to move around and clean it all. A big minus is that when the phone rings, there is nobody around to pick it up. And having a pair of big ears, the constant ringing, makes Jill?s ears ring too. Today is no difference. The phone rings, so Jill goes to the nearest staff member, which is Dixie. She is in the living-room overlooking Timmy, Snow and Megan.

``Dixie.''

``Yes?''

``Phone.''

``I'm busy for now. I'll call back later.''

Frustrated, Jill goes back to the office, where the phone has gone silent again. Thinking it's over, Jill resumes her chores. Just a minute later, the phone rings again. Again, Jill goes to Dixie in the living-room. Again, Dixie is busy and will call back later. Getting seriously frustrated, Jill goes back to the office. Within a minute, the phone rings again. Knowing that Dixie isn't going to help and the other staff members are nowhere to be found, Jill is going to break the rules. She is going to answer the phone and ask the caller to call back later in the day. She sees on the screen its Kevin, from the second hand clothing. She takes a seat in Dixie?s desk chair and lowers it to the lowest setting. She even places her legs on the desk before pressing the speaker button on the phone.

``East Blackburn Lunatic Asylum. This is Jill.''

The other side is silent for a few seconds.

``Jill?'' asks Kevin surprised.

``Yes?''

``Its Kevin.''

``Hi, Kevin. What's up?''

``Not much, but why are you answering the phone?''

``Because nobody else wants to do it.''

``Why I'm calling is I have some work for you.''

``Really?''

"Yes and its big.''

Jill gets curious and starts to ask. Kevin got his hands on an international shipping container and its filled with old clothing from front to back and from floor to ceiling. The amount of clothing is so enormous, Kevin doesn't have enough staff himself to sort it all, if it's filled up like that, as that could take weeks if not months. They have enough clothing to sort already. There is even hardly enough space at the company to store the container itself. By placing the container at the shelter with Jill sorting it, he hopes he could make a huge profit on it and have it sorted and such in a matter of weeks. The container stood in the harbor ready to be shipped, when all the documents disappeared. 5 months later, nobody has claimed it and the documents are still not found. Harbor staff opened up the container to see if they could find a clue about the owner, but were engulfed with clothing falling out. So they called around and Kevin was interested. Kevin could use the container himself for storage or transport, so it was a bargain. This makes Jill think. She isn't sure, but Kevin tells her that there is no deadline. There is one thing. Kevin doesn't have enough crates to put the clothing in, so he has to drop by daily or once every two days to swap them. This limits the speed Jill can work as she is limited by the speed Kevin can swap the crates. She is willing to do it, but has to ask Dixie or Jade for permission. Jill has just said that or Dixie walks in. She was on her way to the toilet when she heard Jill talk with someone, apparently, on the phone. Dixie is mad as Jill doesn't have permission to mess around with the phone. Before she can be mad at Jill, Jill starts to ask her things about the possible work and has her talk with Kevin. Jill even leaves the office so that she has some privacy. She will keep an eye on the living-room. Minutes later, Dixie is back in the living-room and she isn't happy. By now Erik and Jade also show up. They are surprised that Jill and Dixie are having another fight, again. Jill puts all the complains next to her and simply tells Dixie to do her job. Jill could have kept an eye on the others in the living-room for a moment, as if they need that. Knowing it's pointless to go against Jill, Dixie just gives up. She did accept the work and the container will be dropped off the next morning. And even though there is no deadline, Dixie wants it gone as soon as possible. For the rest of the day, Dixie remains mad and even refuses to do her tai chi lesson. Jill doesn't care.

The next morning, Jill is working hard to clean the garage before the container arrives. She already opened the garage doors. As she has cleaned the garage already, its seen as her chore for today and is scraped of the list and Jill gets no other chore to do. The list of chores is made today after they know who is going to sort the clothing. Jill is already planning the layout in her head when she sees the gate open. A big truck drives backwards through the gate at the same time Jade arrives. She lets them in. She alerted Erik through the intercom at the gate. He planned to alert Jill, but she saw the gate open and was already waiting. The container is on a side lifter trailer for easy loading and offloading. The professionals carefully drive the truck backwards as close to the garage door as possible. They even offload the container as close to the garage door as possible without any damage. After signing the paperwork, they are already leaving when Kevin finally shows up with a truck of his own. His team offload the crates and places them in the garage how Jill wants it. After signing a few more papers, they leave too. Jill is all set to start, but she has to wait while they ask for volunteers. Jill knows she will be alone again, as always. It's a mayor surprise when Domino volunteers to help. This would prevent the staff from starting a mayor cleaning, like the last time. However, Jade has enough of it. It's the same every time again. She keeps hammering at the fact that they have to do tasks and jobs later in life, that they don't want to. With still no extra help, its back to mayor cleaning that can and will last for days. And as its good weather today, this involves cleaning the windows inside and out. Jade waits a minute to let the message sink in, but still no volunteers except Domino. While the others are put to work, Erik sends Domino to the garage. There Jill will explain what to do and how to do it. Because all the clothes are without any form a packaging put in the container it makes sorting easier. It's all dirty, so it's just sorting for damages or not.

While cleaning, Marvin and Pippa are called to the office. Recently, Pippa has shown much improvement in her behavior. She starts to understand what happens and why. This would mean she can go to another shelter soon and maybe even start with school. Marvin is still a bit of a mystery for now. However, as he and Pippa have been seen kissing, they see them as a couple. Pippa even stopped Marvin from having another fight with Dave, by grabbing his ears and dragging him out of the room, so he listens to her. After a long talk with the BAP, it is decided that Pippa is given permission to try to go to another shelter. This test will take a few days, maybe a week. If it all goes well, she is then allowed to stay for real. During these days, she will not go to school just yet, but is tested to see how she behaves against the others in this shelter without the help and support of her current shelter?s staff and friends. As she and Marvin are a couple and they don't want to split them apart, Marvin is given permission too. Knowing what is going to happen in the next week, Pippa and Marvin are send back to their chores.

In the garage, Jill and Domino get a visit from Jade. She is coming to check on them and to bring them something to drink.

``How's it going?'' asks Jade while she places two glasses on the small workbench.

``Good. I had to divide the work a bit, but it goes well.''

``Divide?''

``Domino grabs the clothes out of the container and dumps it here where I'm sorting. She also sorts shirts and underwear.''

``Just shirts and underwear?''

``I begin slow, but she is a fast learner. Maybe in a few days she will sort everything.''

``Maybe sooner.''

``What do you mean?''

``Pinky had a little accident.''

Jill doesn't understand, so Jade explains what happened. Pinky was scrubbing the kitchen floor with a sponge, when Erik accidently stepped on her hand. He didn't saw her behind him and he took a step backwards. He didn't realize she was there until she screamed of pain. He is now wrapping her hand in bandages in the office. Pinky might not be able to use her hand for a few days, but she needs to do something. Jade was hoping that she might be able to help Jill and Domino with the clothing. Jill thinks for a few seconds. With just one hand, she can't sort the clothing, but she might be able to carry it from the container to Jill and Domino. Jill agrees to let Pinky help out. Before Jade leaves to get Pinky, Jill had something to show Jade first. Domino found something in the container while getting some clothing. It's a cargo strap, but not just any cargo strap. Its under tension and it disappears in the clothing, as if it keeps something in place. However, in order to see what it is, they need at least an extra day of sorting. After seeing the strap and seeing its under tension, Jade will alert Dixie, who in turn will alert Kevin. About a minute later, Pinky starts dragging the clothes out of the container while Domino is now only sorting.

With two persons sorting, they get more done in a day, but it's still slow. It doesn't help much that the clothing is compressed, so that more could fit in the container. They go as fast as they can. Not only to empty the container quickly, but also to find out what might be hidden in the clothing pile. Kevin as been alerted and he is getting curious too. As there is an empty corner in the garage, Dixie agreed with Kevin to clear the container as far as possible to find out what is in it. Jill and Domino even worked a bit late that evening to get as much in the garage as possible, but when they go to bed, it's still not visible and the corner is filled. This makes Jill resort to some radical tactics the next morning. With Domino and Pinky doing some extra sorting, Jill starts digging and just throws everything out of the container, even if it has to pile up outside. When Kevin finally shows up with a truck to swap the crates, something is finally showing and it appear to be made out of metal. With the full crates out of the garage, Jill and Domino pull more out of the container while Pinky gets her hand checked. In the container, Jill placed Domino carefully on top of the object. Domino can barely stand on it and can't hardly move or risk falling off, but she can grab and throw clothes towards the doors so that Jill can pick it up there. While they do this, Kevin looks on with Dixie by his side. After a few minutes, Domino is helped down to clear some of the sides of the object. If they can clear just a single side and maybe a bit of the top, they can find out what they are dealing with. And then, after a few more minutes, a set of head lights appear. Jill immediately knows what it is. It's a mini tractor, similar to the one that is in the shed in the back yard. It's a different make and model, but roughly the same size. This stops everything. Nobody would ship a mini tractor like this, unless it's illegal or a stolen tractor. Kevin has no other choice then to call the police. His crew and the already filled crates can't leave too. The clothes might be stolen too, or something. If the police wants everything, nothing can be sorted. It takes about 30 minutes before a police officer finally shows up. He takes a good look at what is visible and takes pictures. He sends the pictures to a colleague at the police station. This colleague then checks reports about stolen mini tractors. Just a minute or so later, the police officer gets the news. There is no mini tractor stolen in the past year and knowing this one has been in the container for the past 5 months, it's highly unlikely its stolen. The owner of it might have been shipping it to a third world country. Farming equipment is expensive to ship, especially a tractor, but a container of clothing isn't, which might be the reason why it was hidden. Clothing is often send to a third world country, so a container full of it doesn't look out of place. Without any form of papers it will be impossible to find out. Before the police officer leaves again, he gives Kevin an advice. It best if he keeps the tractor stored somewhere for about 7 months. By then, its unowned for about a year and legally speaking no longer property of the sender of the container. And if in that time no report shows up for this tractor, Kevin owns it for real and can do with it whatever he wants. Before Kevin leaves, he and Dixie agreed to store the tractor in the shed at the shelter as there is enough space here. This saves transporting costs, but most importantly, Kevin has no use for it and wants to give it to Jill for her work she has done for him. He doesn't know that Jill can drive, but she might be able to use it at some point in her life. He did see that Jill was eager to get her hands on it. He could have sold it for extra money, but who would want to buy it from him? He handles in old second hand clothing, not old farming equipment. He doesn't even know how much a mini tractor like this might be worth. It might be a bit evil, but by ``dumping'' the tractor at the shelter and letting them figure out what to do with it, it's better for him. As long as he doesn't have to see that thing again, he doesn't really care where it goes or what happens with it.

After a long day of hard working, most Ani go to bed early. Domino was reluctant to go, but after nearly falling asleep on the couch she was send to bed anyway. It's just past nine, and Eva and Jill are the only two Ani who are still up. With Dixie and Erik, they are still sitting in the living-room. Now that there is hardly anybody around, Jill is finally willing to talk about why Dixie got an email from the BAP telling that Jill needs to undergo a medical check-up, two days from now. Dixie didn't understand and wanted to call the BAP about it, but Jade stopped her. Its normal that this happens, but Jade refused to explain why. Jill didn't want to talk about it all day as she was busy. But when Jill stopped sorting clothing after dinner, she still didn't want to talk as ``there were children present''. For hours, Dixie kept thinking about it and what it could be and why the younger Ani couldn't hear it. During these hours, she kept an eye on Jill. Now that basically everybody is asleep in their beds, Jill finally talks, but she doesn't talk about the medical check-up, but about the letter she got recently. The letter is about a very special summer camp where Jill is going to every summer. Years ago, Theresa found out about this summer camp and thought it would be good for Jill if she could go there. The BAP refused at first, because Jill has APD. They were thinking she would be an aggressive animal and that it would end in disaster. Jill might even run away, as there are no walls or fences around this camp. But things went well and Jill has been to summer camp four times already and each year she comes back to the shelter. In order to go to this summer camp, Jill needs to be in good health. That is why she needs to be checked. Camp is already just a few weeks away.

As Dixie and Erik have never heard of something like this, they think Jill is lying, so they keep asking about it. When Jill gives more details about this summer camp, they can't believe it. The camp is called Tripeaks A.N.S.C. and is each year during the summer for about ten days. While the word Tripeaks is the name is the camp site itself, Dixie wants to know what the four letters mean. She guesses that the A stands for Ani, the S stands for Summer and the C stands for Camp. That only leaves the letter N. Jill just nods no. Dixie only has the A and the C right. Fed up with the slow progress and the secretive behavior of Jill, she orders Jill to start talking and tell everything. After Jill sighs deep, she hates it when Dixie behaves like this, Jill tells everything. The letters A.N.S.C. stand for Ani Nudist Sex Camp. Its specially made for Ani is shelters to help with their ``needs'' what can't always happen in the shelters themselves. As the name suggests, Jill would be naked at camp the whole time and she will have sex when she wants it with who she wants it. It's like a big orgy in the open air. As no Ani is fertile during these days, there is no risk of a pregnancy. Jill even met Daniel there and has spend lots of time with him. When being medically checked, they also check her for any sexual transmittable disease. If she would have one, she won't be going. Jill is in perfect health every year, so she believes it won't be different this year. When Eva hears that Jill had sex with at least 55 others, Jill stopped counting very early, she had enough of it. She lost her boyfriend a few days ago. They wanted to be together more, but Eva couldn't invite him over. Since she is forced to live here, thanks to her parents, she could only see her boyfriend at school. It is therefore very nasty for her to hear that Jill can go to a sex camp for 10 days. Because of this, she openly calls Jill a slut. Dixie and Erik are shocked. Jill isn't, be that doesn't mean she ignores it. She threatens to remodel Eva?s face if she dares to do it again. Jill even holds a fist in front of Eva?s face. Facing her shocked parents and an angry Jill, Eva quickly goes to her room. She slams the door shut and cries herself to sleep. Every day she has to live here, is becoming a struggle for her. She can't ask her friends over. She can't spend time with her boyfriend. She can't go swimming without traveling for at least half an hour. Everything that made up her life, is now gone. It will remain gone, as long as she if forced to live here. Here, in this shitty hellhole.

Its Sunday morning and Jill is early working in the garage again. Straight after breakfast, she went here. Pinky and Domino are getting dressed first and Pinky even needs her hand checked first. Today, Jill wants to have the tractor free of clothing. They have already reached halfway in the container, but most of the tractor is still covert. While still having a bit of time for herself, she thinks about yesterday. A doctor dropped by to give Jill her check-up. As expected, she is in perfect health. When she was alone with the doctor, Jill wanted a small private talk. For a while now, Jill has ideas for the future. It started with Taylor and now that Daniel is around, she thinks about it more. Jill thinks about having a boyfriend and children of her own, but doesn't know if her size is now genetic or not. The doctor couldn't tell. It knew Jill?s past and believes the drug Saliopentranol caused it. It just messed with the signals her body needed to determine when to stop growing. Certain drugs can do it and make you a tiny bit taller or shorter then you should have been, but it's not known if Saliopentranol can do it too. Nobody has ever drugged someone like they did with Jill. She is the first ever recorded. With Domino, it could happen too, but she was taken of the drug years earlier then Jill was. She might be a bit taller, but that would be hardly visible, as there are enough woman around who are a bit taller than average. Domino will blend in perfectly. The only way to tell for sure, is to have a child for real. The doctor believes the child will have a normal size, unless the father is very tall too.

Jill is pulled out of her thoughts, when Domino pulls on her shirt. She is ready to start, but doesn't know where to start. With Domino slowly starting, Erik drops Pinky off in the garage. When she is starting too, Erik and Jill talk about the tractor and how to get it out of the container. They have a good look at it. Instead of wheels, it has tank tracks and they are becoming solid, thanks to some surface rust and dirt. They need to be cleaned and oiled up before use. Considering the weight of the tractor, Jill thinks it needs two adults. One to push and one to pull, most likely with the other tractor, just to get it out of the container. And they need to drag it then all the way to the shed in the back yard. They don't know if its engine runs and if they even have a key. They only know it might break their backs if they try to move it.
