Par for the course for the time era the comic is set in.

The 180 will eventually come, however, and Flora will be forced to realize that her assessment of the matter isn't fully correct. Otherwise there would be no real point in including this bit of dialogue to begin with.

The more I see how she is the more I dislike her. I started enjoying her in the beginning but now she is just being a bitch, and an abusive sexist one at that. I certainly hope karma hits her back. XD

I'm hoping you're right on that. This wouldn't be the first comic I liked that devolved into total cringe.

As easy as it would be for things to happen and then immediately resolve them in the next strip, it's not realistic. Porn immediately resolves with sex. Drama requires that the characters get time to assess, question, and build upon their understanding to reach a conclusion.

I get that. My worry was mostly that it was gonna wind up being Flora's view here being presented at 100% right. Having 'woman always right, man always wrong' would have been the cringe. And given the subject matter of the comic at large, there was a non-zero chance it could have gone that way. I'm glad to hear that isn't the plan.

I'm not angry at her.  She's reasonably frustrated.  That said, casual sexism like that in front of a child is clearly a bad idea.  I doubt that CampionL is trying to present her as always right.  In fact, without some mistakes, she wouldn't seem believable.  But what that dude did was pretty stupid.
