As easy as it would be for things to happen and then immediately resolve them in the next strip, it's not realistic. Porn immediately resolves with sex. Drama requires that the characters get time to assess, question, and build upon their understanding to reach a conclusion.

I get that. My worry was mostly that it was gonna wind up being Flora's view here being presented at 100% right. Having 'woman always right, man always wrong' would have been the cringe. And given the subject matter of the comic at large, there was a non-zero chance it could have gone that way. I'm glad to hear that isn't the plan.

I'm not angry at her. She's reasonably frustrated. That said, casual sexism like that in front of a child is clearly a bad idea. I doubt that CampionL is trying to present her as always right. In fact, without some mistakes, she wouldn't seem believable. But what that dude did was pretty stupid.
