Here is my version of sonic's ancestor this is scales

Scales is a Pholidocercus (a prehistoric ancestor of hedgehogs ) which had scalely armor plates around the head and tail. Also yep they have long tails.

Scales here is a bit more cleaner then any cave hedgehog despite the fact he grooms and eats bugs. ( yes real live hedgehogs eat bugs )

He is intersex.

He has a underbite compare to the other cave creatures.

( in a au He is a cross over oc in the spyro / ratchet and clank and sonic universe. )

It is possible that he had a mate but sadly his mate was killed off by something.

He not a high rank hunter but does try to hunt good amount of food.

He also fast but not as fast as sonic. Just fast enough to run to a cheetahs speed. He got a very high stamina.

Also he likes berries :3
