Character Sheet for Xion
Character Description
Ehm, hello. My name's Xion, and, uh, I'm some mixture between Flammie and Human. Don't ask me how that happened, or even who my parents were, because by all accounts, I shouldn't even exist.
And don't let my appearance trick you! I'm a lot older than I look. It's just that I'm part Flammie, and Flammies have super long life spans, but since I'm also part human, I just look young...it's hard to explain. Let's just say that proportionally speaking, I'm young with respect to how long Flammies generally live, and because of that, I look young whenever I'm posing as a human. And yes, I have a "Flammie Form," if that's what you want to call it...I just prefer to look as human as possible. Makes it easier to hide. >.>
I'm pretty sure you can guess what my favorite color is. It's all over my head and wings, after all. ;p
I like doodling, so I always carry a pocket-sized sketch pad with me; no pencils or pens or anything because I can draw with my finger, and very well, I might add! And if I want to, I can actually materialize whatever it is I draw, but it's kinda complicated, so I rarely do it. And...I think that's about it. I'm sure I'm missing something, though...
Personality
Cautious, sometimes paranoid, but otherwise deceptively happy. Mood shoots up when around people who look his age.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: People who look around the same age as him, girls, sketching/drawing, site seeing, pokemon, yellow, meeting new people
Dislikes: Flammies, people who know him without ever meeting him, larger dragons, rain
Background/History
Xion knows very little about his family. All he can remember of his mother is lying against her side as she cuddled with him, and that was only through the first few years of his life, as she suddenly disappeared. He can't remember what she looks like, never learned her name, and never interacted with her. This is more than he can say about his father, however, as he never met him.
Xion lived in various orphanages for the first twenty or so years of his life, having to run away once he realized that he didn't appear to be aging. At around 15, he started growing wings, which were easy enough to conceal since they were so small at first. But at near 20, they literally bloomed, along with his tail seeming to appear out of nowhere, and he could no longer linger in orphanages.
Roaming the lands, Xion was more than able to take care of himself, not needing too much in the ways of nourishment, and shelter was easy enough to find. And with his wings, it was almost always easy for him to run away from danger. It wouldn't be until he was around 30 that his body underwent another drastic change, turning him into a near full-on Flammie, albeit anthropomorphic in that he stood upright on two legs and retained a human-like physique. But at the same time, this made him traceable by other Flammies, many of which apparently sought his extinction.
A friendly Guardian Flammie was sent to hunt him down, and Xion could somehow tell he was being hunted. He hid for as long as he could, but eventually a Flammie known as Incog cornered him. Transformed as he was, Xion could actually fight, but only with his claws and enhanced physical prowess as he hadn't tapped into his Flammie-given abilities quite yet, but it wouldn't have mattered either way. Incog had age, experience, and power advantage over Xion, and the encounter was an overwhelming lack of contest. Outclassed in every way possible and unable to flee, Xion begged for his life...not that he needed to. Incog had no intention to carry out his mission to end Xion's life, only wanting to see for himself if the younger Flammie was indeed as dangerous as his superiors claimed. Incog just didn't see it. He let Xion go, warning him that he needed to better conceal himself, else Incog would most likely be sent to find and kill him again; if there was to be a second encounter, Incog wouldn't be able to let Xion go.
To assist Xion, Incog showed the younger Flammie hybrid how to make use of some of his power, which included mild transformation. Whereas Incog could alter his size and weight, Xion could apparently mask his appearance, though not very well. He's unable to hide his foot paws or tail, and it's troublesome to hide his wings, though he can conceal them. However, it's more than enough to make him almost undetectable by other Flammies unless close by, and since that fateful encounter, Xion's been relatively safe.
He went into hiding for a few years anyhow, just to be safe, before popping out again and resuming his travels to discover who he was and why exactly the other Flammies wanted him dead. All Incog could tell him was that he was considered an abomination for various reasons, two of the main reasons being his existence should have been impossible, and that Xion's father made history by bringing an incurable curse to the Great Mana Tree and the Flammie race. He doesn't expect to find much in the way of answers, but he searches anyhow.
Relatives/Family
He has a Flammie Mother and a Human Father. He knows next to nothing of his mother, but he knows his Father is a powerful sorcerer. As far as he knows, he has no other immediate family other than Flammies, who all apparently want him dead anyhow.
World/Setting
(None set in stone! He's just...somewhere.)
Body
Human-like body with a pair of feathered wings, a flammie-like tail, and footpaws that lack paw pads. His color scheme is yellow; yellow hair, golden irises, and yellow feathers with white fur. He has scales, though his shorts usually conceal them, starting just below his belly and trailing off at the base of his undertail.
Xion doesn't blush, at least not traditionally. When embarrassed, flustered, or bothered, his wings actually begin to turn pink, and when those feelings reach the extremes, they become a hot pink and sensitive to touch. When in this state, he's unable to conceal his wings at all.
Clothing
Typically wears a yellow t-shirt or longsleeve and a pair of denim shorts.
