Mr. Bear quickly became a family friend to the Lynx Family. He's seen as an uncle figure/big brother by Aiden, and to Amy... well, she has her own range of affections. Mr. Bear seems to rather enjoy snuggling on the chair or couch, his paternal instincts caving in for the moment. It seems this time Amy isn't trying to do anything more than cuddle... lucky fella.
