Hello again, back with another Transformers figure review. And this time we're looking at one closed book who's blades can cut a man worse than in Indiana Jones, i'm of course talking about Spinister! Now this guy came out in the late years of G1 in 1987 and has been around as long as there was a decent Helicopter mold for him to copy. His colors do make him look like one of Aldin1996's Redesigns, so a 5/10 there. He also is, as he puts it; Terribly mysterious, and is pretty much like that quiet kid in school but maxed to the highest level possible, rocking that Decepticon mouth-plate like Soundwave or SixShot. Now as he appears in the Siege line, he's a pretty a-okay figure. The posing is just the way i can enjoy, and i personally do love a figure with great articulation. (Damn cheater...) Transformation is more of a mixed bag than me, what i mean is i can get the hang of it, but i forget what order it supposed to transform half the time. The tab that's supposed to hold the blades in place in robot mode is kind of a myth, as the blades wanna pop lose every time i try to pose him. (Sigh...) But hey, at least in chopper mode, the guns somewhat serve a purpose, because without them on? Eh not as good... But it is nice how the left leg has the landing wheel so you know which leg becomes the cockpit. Overall, this guy is pretty good depending if you like the colors or articulation or the fact he can hold 300 pounds of canned meat on his right arm.............. Enjoy! <3
