I was wondering how long it would be before that began to show...

(Let's hope she doesn't go into labor at the BBQ)

Who knows how many weeks along Nina would be at?
And maybe she's got more than one husky/fennec fox hybrid cub on board.

Interesting questions! I never actually say.......
I've already got their appearance planned, though. Did I say "them" I meant "him".
....or "her
....or maybe it IS "them"

i love how the writer says cold drinks, to not say beer. that's how you know  you are in good hands reading this comic. you know it's beer, so, no need to say it.....or maybe, they just enjoy a cool pepsi on a bbq.....maybe?

also, who is the possum lady on panel 4?

It's the artist, Zenia! She changed her character design into an opossum. :)

The writer responds:
Neither Mrs. Muzzle or I were ever particularly big beer drinkers, so, when entertaining, we offered 'drinks'. We used to have a full bar on the lower level, so cocktails were an option, as were soda, fruit juice lemonade coffee, water, juice boxes, and yes, beer for those who prefer it. I still have beer in the fridge. But, not being big beer fans, beer was never the only option.....

it's ok, i am not into alcohol either....never found it funny. i do enjoy a beer every now and then....but, to me, alcohol is meh. i will always prefer a cool pepsi or coke, and sprite with super extra ice cold, is my kriptonite :)

and again. i like it how you translate your personal likings and opinions into the comment, without going into mary sue or similar tropes, oh yes, tina solves all problems, and ray is always there to help, but, you just know they are real, and may fail eventually. but, the idea is learning from the mistakes, and helping others learn from theirs. and that's what ray and tine do. not bad at all.

Thank you very much!
I think that's the essence of writing- to be a student of human behavior. A lot of Tina wrote itself- once the character was created, the characters pretty much tell me what they'd say and do. I think that this chapter is a great example of a number of characters being who they are, for better or worse.

if only the digimopn writers were able to think like that......if only......

Even when one is creating different worlds or species, a lot of the basics still apply. There will still be love, hate, jealousy, selflessness, and greed.

totally agree, realism, does not mean grim and gritty, and maturity, does not mean profanity and vulgarity. but.....trope eaters must be fed, i guess

It just occurred to me that Colleen and Lydia's children don't have names yet.

You know, I'm not sure if I ever named them in the story.
