I made this about a year ago mostly to express my general frustrations with the baby-fur community in general.  The original post had quite a bit of venom and virtol to it and while I may still feel some of what I said was true I realised I probably stepped over the line in some places.

I would like to take some pride in my art, that I'm doing it a little more for myself and freinds and not so much for attention.  I shouldn't neccessarily DETEST attention mind you, but should I receive it I wouldn't mind it to do with my skills as an artist rather than simply relying on the subject matter to carry my popularity.  It can be a little disheartening then when half my user-base arn't nessesarily artists themselves, and rarely comment about specifics of a picture but rather focus on one specific aspect of it.  I'm sure it's fairly obvious what that's about.

I might have had several reasons, possibily not very good ones mind you, for developing this complex.  Being humilitated by mis-interpreted intentions for one, feeling used by someone who possibilty cast me aside when they found more talented artists to hang out with for another.  Or maybe just some justification to myself that I genuinely want to improve as an expresser of ideas and emotions (which is my own definition of an artist).

Or I should be doing this for fun like everybody else and I should stop being such a whiney bi*ch and don't overcomplicate things.

Anyway, I still like how the picture came out.  I do think the layout of the text does infer my intentions or at least convey how I felt my art is perceived.  But really, should I be posting art of this nature if I don't want the attention it draws anyway?  I am a person of contridictions I suppose.
