Gerra the Kymera
Last in pool
For a time the Prison was able to keep him under control via complete sensory deprivation. Barely conscious from synthesized chemicals pumped straight into his veins, he floated there within the anti gravity chamber for upwards of three years. For a kymera such as him that time felt like mere months, however. All the nutrition he needed to survive was given to him by the same tubes and needles which kept him sedated.

Within this hell where he could not see, hear, or sense anything, he began to adapt. The infernal helmet which had been placed upon him slowly ceased to contain his tortured mind. Where others might have given in to hopelessness he had succumbed to pure and bitter rage. The hatred within him never stopped growing, and with it swelled his power, until it overflowed.

It seeped into the minds of all the prisoners nearby. All any of them could dream was of him. All any of them could hear was his demand to be set free. Some were driven mad by his anger and his presence.

It was only a matter of time before one of them decided to answer his hellish call.

very interesting way of imprisonment, I'm guessing the tubes are more bio than machine?

Oh yes, the whole prison is just a form of life we humans have never seen before to be honest, even if it seems mechanical simply because of all the metals and silica. The Wardens (and therefore the Prison itself) can take a sample of any creature's blood and synthesize the chemicals/hormones to get that creature to do whatever they want, limited of course by how much chemicals can even affect said creature, or for how long. As with any hard synthesized drug most beings can and will develop a sort of 'immunity' to it in both brain and body, which is what happened to Gerra here, after a long time and many re-designs of the drug the Prison created just for him.

I'm sure the withdrawals from all that didn't help once he was forcefully disconnected. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he got some serious brain damage of some kind, which for him seemed to have created some impulse control problems, seizures, and a nearly complete personality change (along the lines of empath straight to antisocial personality disorder). Add PTSD and chronic pain and we got a recipe for one very, very tortured soul with a very strong sadistic streak.

Interesting drawing (i'm use to say cute drawing...not this time XD).

That prison is very scary and creative...but they should have know only restraining the physical body of someone that can use his mind isn't enough ^^.

That way of escape just give me some ptsd of alma from F.E.A.R.

But i think that, more than withdrawals, that the return of all his senses at full capacity that could have been the most painfull. Even the slightest noise, smell, etc... could be a pain after being private of those for so long, isn't it ? O_o

Oh yes, it is extremely painful, causing him to have short bursts of extremely powerful psychic power that completely overwhelm not only everything around him, but himself in general. It happened like seizures all throughout his final escape, triggered by stress and occurring randomly for no reason. (Everything you mention is true, every sense of his was agony for a long time, even after he eventually won in my canon ending).

Being in constant pain made him even more dangerous and unpredictable, like a lion with a thorn in his paw.

The prison employs tricky tactics to keep things contained, such as illusions of all kinds. When he eventually escaped his first containment he had to navigate a whole labyrinth of horrors to find the true exit, which in the end was pure luck. The prison anticipated everything but him being able to invade it's neural network as if it were a mind.

Luck is sure a good thing to have on his side XD
Through...i don't know if invading the "mind" of something like the Prison is a good idea ... or a bad one o_O

He becomes like a virus within the machine, everything goes haywire before he becomes the dominant force. Which in a place like that does indeed get pretty intense, heh. Thankfully all that chaos is contained, within the nothing between universes.

I have 3 different endings, Gerra survives in all but one, however he does overcome the prison in all of them.
