Deep in the heart of Deadland are the Spiders Fangs and between them is The Eye of Pandora. A strange object that for 5 years cries a steady stream of Black acid that fills a pit a mile in diameter and 400 feet high to the brim There is no way while the acid is flowing to get to it and though many have tried, even aliens with extremely advanced technology and materials the acid has easily destroyed all that is put against it, even powerful force fields and magnetic displacement fields. So why you may ask would anyone WANT to even TRY? Because that Black Acid hides at the very center of the pit what many believe to be a genuine honest to god Philosophers Stone that can turn plain ordinary objects and materials into PURE GOLD, DIAMONDS, PLATINUM, SILVER or just about anything else you want!! It is the ULTIMATE STUPID MAGNET because every 5 years the Eye of Pandora closes for just one day and when it does the acid vanishes and the Philosophers stone is exposed for anyone brave and stupid enough to try to get to. Those who have survived have made more money publishing pamphlets and giving lectures and pod casts on how to use the stone and how to survive the escape than they ever have USING the stone, though they did get rich enough to start their "Business"! What you're seeing in the above picture is Toxy's favorite part of the ritual where literally THOUSANDS of people have ignored the warning signals and signs to get that last bit of gold or whatever from the stone and find themselves trapped as the eye awakens and begins 'crying' again. If you've ever seen World War Z and remember the Zombies making human pyramids to scale the walls in Israel then you have a good idea of what's happening here. The people in the pit have MAYBE 10 min before the main flow of acid hits and then it's all over. Oh and the burning things in the pit, they're helicopters and hovercraft that tried to get in but crashed because once the Eye opens all electronics are fried and the acid fumes will destroy engines and air frames. But the most amazing thing to Toxy and the others about this whole spectacle, no matter HOW close to the deadline the people down there are, even with death staring them in the face, they STILL try to get that LAST little bit, try for ONE MORE piece of treasure. It NEVER fails to amaze them.
