While I'm still working on the second one, being The Mummy (1999), this is the third one I've finished so far for TSS Celebrates. X3
Ah, the ultimate guilty pleasure that is Supergirl of 1984. While it may have a misguided script and goofy things, the best things that help the film was Jerry Goldsmith's very awesome score, some of the performances, especially Helen Slater as Supergirl, and the overall fun things the movie has to offer. Even some of the effects of the film (for the time) looks pretty solid! I'm just so happy that there is an audience out there that loves the film as much as I do, though. Even more awesome that the film finally had a long-awaited Blu-ray release, which looks BEAUTIFUL!
So, for this, Selena, of course plays Supergirl, Scalene plays Selina (funny that Selena's name ironically matches the villain's name), and Slater playing the role of Ethan. Also, I just had to add in the Omegahedron (the rotating ball - power source to Supergirl's home of Argo City) in the picture for the attention of detail. XD I've also did an alternate version with an alternate logo (that being first two pictures of this set). So, I hope you love it!
*Fun fact: Selena The Hedgehog, and Scalene The Python were two characters that were inspired by Helen Slater and Faye Dunaway's characters of the film. So, the whole idea of my having to make this picture was because of how much I was inspired to make new characters with a cult classic. X3 And, the name of Slater was originally "Mark", but was changed to "Slater" because of my Sonic Forces fan character.*
The Supergirl movie was great for it's time if a bit confusing at times. The best part though..is the fact they used the girl who played Supergirl in that movie to play the mother figure for Kara and her sister in the new show. Kind of like how they used the original Flash actor to play Barry's dad, and two alternate Flashes in the new Flash tv show. :) Not to mention Dean Cain in Supergirl, even though he wasn't Superman. lol.

I've been following all the new shows since Arrow. lol Waiting on the new seasons to start here soon. Though I've seen all episodes of Lois and Clark, I own the whole Original Flash show, And I do indeed own the Supergirl and all Superman movies. :)
