I really love these pieces. I like how chaotic and wild they appear initially, but on closer inspection you see all these wonderful little patterns within the color choices (and that's not even touching on the cool intricacies of the shapes themselves). It's like two different images, one when you look at it from far and another close up, both interesting and pretty in their own way~

Nothing pretentious about it - I always love hearing feedback! And yeah, I was going for vibrant, saturated colours that highlighted different sections of the image in different ways, and then smaller details to do the same at a closer look - Basically exactly what you were stating.
