It's been awhile hasn't it..? All these long nights over the ocean..
I've dreamt about you, about the life we have each had, and the journey still we have left to take. I dream of all the meaningful experiences we have shared and had alone.
I dream that you will know all those experiences, happiness, sadness, creativity, wisdom, challenge and joy. That you will know them personally and profoundly. That deep down inside you will not see this as the end, but the beginnings of so much more.
It's only human to fall away from our faith in things, even ourselves. Some of us fall so very far. Some of us feel alone with our problems, and who we are. So I want to give you a gift today. The most sincere gift I could, and the one each of us truly deserves. I accept you for who you are. You never truly have been alone...It's okay to go on. I believe in you.
You have tried, and I know how hard it has been for you. I know you have doubted, you have struggled, and fallen so many times. I know it's been difficult..but I am so proud of you for taking every day the best you could and being here now. Loved ones give us strength, and there is so much to be loved in you. To be understood and shared with.
