Based loosely on the SatAM pilot episode.

To be frank, I wish people would stop obsessing over bringing back SatAM or Archie Sonic. Yes, they were good, yes, the characters are missed, and yes, they should be kept alive in fan works, but as I've said, I feel they're too intrinsically linked in people's minds to those franchises AS THEY WERE BACK IN THE DAY to be properly brought back without major changes that fans would complain about and disown them for. Let them be, alright?

I loved SatAM and all the characters however a remake or bringing it back in today's age would just pollute the characters I mean just look what the he did with ThunderCats and she-ra

I liked what they did with Thundercats, but I did hear bad things about what they did with the She-Ra revival.

There's the original Thundercats the 2011 and then there's the new one that looks kind of like Steven universe and that wasn't a very good drawing animation to begin with

Ah, the one called Thundercats Ho!, like "Teen Titans Go!" but Thundercats. Yeah, I figured that one would crash and burn. The 2011 one was rather good, too bad it was so short-lived.

It doesn't help when the things replacing them are kinda weak. Don't get me wrong. The new IDW series is good but Sonic Boom I think is bad. And the movie....
I like when Sonic has a good supporting cast. It makes him and his world more interesting.

I still think to this day that Sally and Bunnie are the two most interesting and dynamic females of the entire Sonic franchise.
None other even comes remotely close when taking into account things like: character design, personalities, abilities and accomplishments. That fact that they have now been cut in favor of bland, uninspired girls frightens and angers me.

With the Archie book gone, I've pretty much given up on the whole franchise. That was the last and only thing I consumed of said universe. And roughly 90% of the reasons for that was the Freedom Fighters as the supporting cast. I find them a hell of alot more superior in that role than most of the characters spawned from the games.

Have you read the IDW comics? They're pretty good, and make some interesting use out of game characters while putting in interesting new ones. Right now, Whisper is my favorite out of the new characters, with Dr. Starline a close second.

I read 8 issues of it before losing interest. I came to a point were I just said to myself:
"These comics aren't for me anymore. They are intended for a new audience."
And when that realization hit me, I just dropped it and moved on. They lost me as a reader, a reader who read the Archie series for over 13 years.

So, today I'm just not caring about that blue dweeb anymore. No more games, no more comics, nothing.
When it comes to SEGA I'd rather put my money into the Yakuza series today. And the upcoming Streets of Rage 4.

Well, at least you gave the comic a fair shot before putting it down; most people wouldn't even do that. Doesn't sound like you thought they were bad, just that you thought they weren't for you, so that's good.

For me, with all of the shit being flung around in the community, I only really like Sonic for the new comic and the porn; I still haven't played any of his new games (even though I own Mania Plus on steam), so... I can't really fault you for that.
