The nature of the universe is frequently regarded as terrifying and chaotic, thus fated to birth the divine symbols of the triangle, the diamond, and the chain. It is commonly believed from these sharpened shapes that the purpose then of existence is to violently pierce the nothingness.
Less regarded however is the symbol of the moon, and those that harbor its mark. The unnaturally smooth shape seems to promise a gentler side of creation to those disturbed by the motions of existence.
On nights of a full moon, those who stare long enough onto the shape are said to hear the sound of that similar to a great and deep ocean. By the same token, those who submerge their head within chasmic waters mention to witness the shape of the moon.
Scholars of the arms reach understood the burdens taken to achieve peace, and honor through tears to the divine who carry the weight on their backs.
