I'm still messing around with the new coloring technique and I am not sure about it yet.  I am coming to the conclusion that I can only really use copics for the marker underlay. The watercolor markers are too streaky.

the watercolor creates excellent effects for nuances...but it can be a double-edged sword. a bit more water and the sheet becomes too moist, risking to drool the edges and the lines of the draw.

I used watercolor for the backgrounds in these drawings:

...and in some drawings of Agent Firefly.

In your case, fortunately, you haven't had problems of this kind...and the result is excellent :)

Don't mention it ;)

Ah here, see, we use two different things then.
You use watercolor markers, while I use the classic watercolor, those that are applied with a brush (better still if small and thin).

The ones I use don't have a specific brand, I bought them in a supermarket. I have brand markers (Carioca, very common in Italy) and pencils (Giotto).
however, now that I think of it better, I've watercolor pencils, practically new, from Staedtler. I've never tried them yet.
