It's called a fetish. Also there are many other conditions that can cause full or partial incontinence that are much less extreme than paraplegia.
Plus, like I said, there are people at there who at least occasionally would rather use diapers for their bodily needs than the toilet. While this is often, maybe even usually, related to the aforementioned fetish, it isn't always.
Also, for some people, like me, this also connects to a fetish for watersports (piss) and possibly scat. I'm not into scat besides messing (either in regular underwear or diapers), but there are plenty of people who are.
Babyfur/diaperfur is what the furry side of this stuff is called, and for real life stuff with humans, it's called ABDL (adult baby/ diaper lover) or possibly in this kid's case TBDL (teen baby/ diaper lovers.) Note, that these are two separate but related things. You can be a diaper lover without being an adult/teen baby and presumably vice-versa. I haven;t done anything with diapers IRL, but it's something I'm planning on trying. I'm not really into the whole baby-play thing unless an actual child is involved (only fictional unless laws change).
