And I bet you guys thought I wasn't gonna draw anything for Christmas~ |P

I realize there was greater potential for a GemxChillie or GemxNightide pic, but that seemed too predictable. Maybe next year.

Merry Christmas to you all! Hope you get something better than Gem did!

Ah, Gem...
Living(?) proof that we should always listen to our parents when they tell us to eat healthy.

Proof, but not at all living. Gem has been deceased for over 270,000 years.

Right, I've always been a little confused over the semantics of how that worked, exactly.
I mean, he hatched, he grows, he can reproduce, but he's a ghost.
(Man, my friend freaked out when he found out that Ghost types are ACTUAL ghosts)

I'm actually not sure whether they are really ghosts myself, but their biology seems to fit the bill, as well as other various pieces of evidence.

In my continuities, they still have a physical form that works much in the same way as that of the living, but with the exception of the need to eat, sleep, drink, or breathe. On top of this, less laws of physics apply, as they can somewhat manipulate their bodies to be either solid or intangible (more so for some species than others).

However, with a lack of rest, food or drink, there does exist nonfatal unhealthiness, as in Gem's case.
