Sophie was a character I made up a while ago as a sort of mother figure to Shadow; like Lilly is to Sonic and I haven't really drawn her at all so I thought it was a good idea to draw her now as a sort of introduction picture x3
In this redraw I was thinking that Shadow was helping Sophie to escape from the current day G.U.N (her story is based around her being a G.U.N agent but she soon went undercover to take care of Shadow after rescuing him from the ARK, you see the whole story here: https://www.deviantart.com/hedgecatdragonix/art/Sonic-X...) since she was spotted with him not too long ago. Being the honorable son that Shadow was, he took his mother to a far away place in order to stay in hiding until it was safe to return home.
