I based it on a actual photo of a swan's  skull. Of course, Faithry has larger eyes ad a humanoid type body so I will write that Felix learned to read the genetic program and mixed his DNA with the embryo of a swan and the result is Faithry.

Looking great so far. Can you elaborate on the materials you are using for this? Unless is a professional secret, of course.

I have done puppets with papier machie before, but I'd love to try something in plastic.

It is cereal box cardboard glued together using white glue. Layers of epoxy are being used as a coating to making it strong and water proof. The eyes are also made of narrow strips of cardboard and poster board. Multiple coatings of white glue fills in the gaps making it smooth. Then epoxy coats the surface to secure the fittings for the cables and gears. There will be photos showing the steps in assembly.

What kind of epoxy do you use?

5 minute epoxy made by Bob Smith Industries, Gorilla Glue Epoxy works well too, I just don't like the dispenser. I like to separate containers for precise mixing. I need to purchase clear casting resin to make the cornea of Faithry's eyes.

To this eyes and feathers will be added to bring Faithry to life.
