When things finally calmed down Sumi ask Daichi why she lied about being a boy, she explains that he father is Veteran hero who wanted to son who he can pass his knowledge too but he had a daughter instead. He was never kind to her stating the fact she will never be a hero because she a girl. So she lied about being a boy to prove her father wrong.
