This is another doodle I did at school today while waiting for classes. I appologize for the checked paper, it's all I have at school. One day I might ink and color it in Photoshop.

This is Faun, a Kinarishi or Mistfox. Living in the Misty Cliffs on Kawandan, a very large island, Mistfoxes are a rather mysterious tribe of white foxes. Their home is constantly surrounded in white fog and not much is known about these people, who rarely leave their home.
Mistfoxes possess unique abilities, such as the manipulation of auras on touch, which they can use to harm or heal others, calm or excite them. Because of their grace and beauty, they were treasured sex slaves in the past. They were also famous and priced assassins, even today they are trained in stealth from the day they can walk and frequently consume small amounts of Kirimai, a special poison that causes apparent death. Because of this they build up an immunity and can, for example, eat food they poisoned beforehand, to give a target a false sense of immunity. Another trick is to actually put Kirimai into the maw and then kiss the target.

Faun himself left the Misty Cliffs when he was still rather young. Being a (male-leaning) herm, he typically would not live very long, most Kinarishi herms don't even reach maturity. In addition, he was given a prophecy saying "The father will never love the child, the mother will not live to see the child and the child will not see the love it found and live to see maturity." Because of this, he left his home to see the world before dying, carrying the prophecy, which was carved into a piece of wood, with him.
While he never met his father and his mother died in the childbed before she could even see her son, he actually fell in love with someone and lived past his day of maturity. Looking at the piece of wood with the prophecy after his day of maturity, he noticed a large crack the wood had suddenly developed, literally breaking the prophecy.

The water stone he wears around his neck and his enchanted transverse flute allow him to manipulate wind and fog.
