Oof. Is there like actual latex superheros in this world?
I'm picturing some guy in a hawk suit trying to catch some criminal in a cheetah suit. o3o

Just looking at this picture just makes me happy,  I don't know why but it does. I never really thought about latex suits or anything similar, but the more i read your comic and see your art the more I want to try and understand. After seeing yoir comic and art I kinda feel like I always liked latex but just never knew that I did. It's strange but really interesting never really felt like that before. Thank you.

As a diver, I have one technical critique: you said the suit is very heavy to counteract the buoyancy of the air contained within. However, as the suit expels CO2 through the gills, it loses buoyancy, but the weight remains the same. You'd quickly lose the ability to make it back to the surface.

Two suggestions about how to remedy this: one is that the suits doesn't expel the CO2 its wearer exhales, but instead stores it in separate areas in the suit, thus keeping the suit constantly neutrally buoyant. The second idea would be that it would function more as a proper SCUBA rig, where all the oxygen is stored under pressure in the tail (probably necessitating reinforcement of the tail latex), and it feeds into the main suit cavity as needed for breathing and buoyancy adjustment.
