Special Talent: As a singer, he is a talented bass and tenor vocalist often times singing while he works. As a musician, for a creature with hoofs, he's taken a liking to a particular instrument called the "marimba" which he enjoys for its bass range and started playing because of it.

Daybreak is a flamboyant stallion pegasus. He enjoys his job working Sky Control at the Cloudsdale weather factory, but not nearly enough as his parents do. He leads more of the musician lifestyle, singing and performing music. He is a kind pony, often spending extended periods of time with Fluttershy and her creatures. He sometimes interacts with The Mane 7, once having a crush on Starlight Glimmer and even her friend Trixie before they knew each other. He's also hung out with the likes of Braeburn, some creatures beyond Ponyville. He's a very likable pony if not often times nearly as shy as Fluttershy.

Background/History
Daybreak, as a colt, aspired to his parents, seeing how much they loved working sky control and would only hope when he grew up, he'd be as good as they were. With time, he grew to realize there were many pegasi who were exquisite in sky control, far better than anything he would manage. While he would go on to work for morning sky control like his mother, he didn't really enjoy as much as she did or as he'd hoped. Similar, as a colt, he enjoyed watching the Wonderbolts. But, as time went on and new recruits became new members, he never really wanted to be a Wonderbolt, though the magic of watching them perform never faded. Even now, watching the Wonderbolts perform really brightens the day he helped make bright already. Though his parents really wanted him to follow in their hoofsteps and be the best at sky control, he never got into it as much as they did, often times trailing off in the monotony of cloud placing or cloud busting and singing songs he's overheard (no pun intended) flying overhead while working. He really enjoyed singing and could sing really well for having spent most of his time at higher altitudes and moving clouds around. He would often sing songs in lower octaves, reaching the bass range and sometimes a bit higher into a tenor range (and sometimes a little higher than that but the quality of his tone wasn't as smooth at higher octaves). It wasn't until one day, he was singing a song he didn't know and when he realized he didn't know it and figured he must have heard it one morning while clearing the sky over somewhere. It was actually one day when he was flying around Equestria during his day off had he come across this song, played on a unique instrument originating to the outskirts of Klugetown. It was called a "marimba" and it's soothing bass tones stuck in his head when flying over a young feline creature playing it. He had returned to this location to find the young anthropomorphic feline still playing on the outskirts of Klugetown -- perhaps he was begging. Landing in front of the creature, Daybreak offered a little pouch of bits and asked the feline to teach him. While he found it difficult to hold his mallets with his hooves, Daybreak found his wings to be of much more use and once he managed the basics, he realized not only did he have a knack for playing, he really enjoyed it! It was then, as an adolescent colt, did he find his cutie mark! Since then, he has made friends with Octavia, another classically-playing pony and subsequently met her friend Vinyl Scratch, also known by her stage name DJ Pon3. From then on, he would work diligently in his job as morning Sky Control pony to return to Klugetown and purchase a marimba of his own to return to travel Equestria, marimba in tow, and bring ethnic-tone entertainment to ponies and other creatures alike!
Relatives/Family
Mother: Dawnbreak, a dark-colored mare pegasus, was the ambassador for morning sky coverage at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory. She would receive instruction directly from Princess Celestia if a morning should be clear, cloudy, or rainy and would tell her fellow pegasi to create the weather accordingly.
Father: Daylight, a warm-colored stallion pegasus worked morning sky control just slightly later than that of Dawnbreak. When the sun was high in the sky, he along with his team was responsible for turning whatever the weather was during the morning to whatever protocol called for during the afternoon. Being the lead Midday Sky Control pegasus, his orders were in direct correlation with that of Dawnbreak. If a day were to be clear all day, Celestia would inform Dawnbreak who would inform Daylight, and this would be a day off for them. It was during these little conferences they would get to know each other and had Daybreak while Cloudsdale was over Las Pegasus.
World/Setting
Daybreak lives in Equestria, concurrent with canon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic geography.
Though he owns a residence in Ponyville, he is constantly moving, whether exploring other regions of Equestria or towing his marimba on hoof touring and performing where an audience was present. Sometimes, being a pegasus, he would hang out in Cloudsdale, though he didn't have too many friends there, not after graduating from Cloudsdale Flight Acadamy -- he and his friends went their separate ways.
Body
Though Daybreak is a stallion, he has a feminine figure. His coat and wings area bright yellow color. His mane and tail are prominently golden yellow with highlights of black interspersed on some of his tips. His cutie mark is two black bass clefs in the form of a heart. His irises are bright red.
Clothing
Sometimes he wears what is pictured. A black nylon/polyester windbreaker with black cloth cuffs on his front and back hooves. But that was kind of a phase; he's since stopped wearing that or wears it SUPER rarely.
HE WEARS NERD GLASSES. Black, thick-rimmed or otherwise fashionable "hipster-like" non-prescription glasses. He also wears a black and pink scarf he received from Rarity that she was giving away when she tried to create something with Inky Rose inspiration but she didn't seem to like it.
Also rarely, he would cross-dress. Having a mare's figure makes it really easy for him to fit the form nicely. A crop-top tied along the crest and a miniskirt. He has also often been caught wearing knee-high or thigh-high socks.
Accessories
Black, thick-rimmed glasses, as previously stated. He also has earrings, 6 of them, three on either ear, each a different color. Viewing him directly from right to left and top to bottom they go /)red, orange, yellow (\green, blue, purple.
