There is highly toxic contaminated crap-sludge in some of the buildings, right?
I am sure she can find an assortment of makeshift containers to collect it, and create heat somehow. There's a highly oxygenated atmosphere if I remember right. That means stuff would burn. Easily. Anything visibly rotting is a good candidate for trying to burn it. Anything of organic origin (these weird trees) too.
That means she can boil water
Any cold surface above the boiling water - an angled sheet of metal or similar - would condense steam, which would then rinse down - for example into a second container.
It would be horribly inefficient compared to a proper distillery. She'd probably loose 80% or more of the mass. But the result should be pure, distilled water.
Distilled water in itself is not exactly healthy, but it would still increase her survival chances and time by many days if not weeks. The body can last 3 days without water but usually around 1- 2 months without food
I just realized how she could get clean water! There is highly toxic contaminated crap-sludge in so
