It’s been three weeks since that strange dream she had and went to the local library to look up any info about this private eye along the case he was working on.
“There absolutely nothing, not even the mention of the fire I saw. Was it just a dream or something more, like a vision of the future” thought Maria still not sure what she would make of it.
Maria was living with this skunk family who had one cub of their own. Her name was Samantha with dark black fur and a light white strip down her tail. The two of them shared a bunk bed so the two of them could enjoy each other company.
One night Samantha climbed into Maria bed and snuggled with her while they slept. This lasted for seven months as the two girls enjoyed sleeping together in the same bed. Samantha came out to Maria as a pan sexual as she had no interest in doing naughty things with anyone.
Over the course of the seven months the two of them went to the library and basically went everywhere together. Maria kept trying to track down her brother as she really wanted to find him again even though she would be losing her best friend at a cost.
Three months before the yiffing friends play a local police officer came by the skunk’s house and wanted to have a private conversation with Maria alone. Maria wanted Samantha beside her because she need someone to be with her at this moment. The police officer was an elderly fox that looked to be in his late sixties and was wearing glasses for his vision.
The three of the sat at the kitchen table with fox putting some papers on the table.
“The local police depart, here in Saith have come upon some information about your, brother Mako Grey. He’s been attending school in Pouncefield at a school, called St. Lovejoy’s. We also found out he’s been dating someone named Lucy and is also looking for you for quite some time. Your mother’s with him and if you wish, we can arrange a train ticket for you to see him. Last but not least, he’s hosting a play on October third” said the fox in a happy tone for her.
Maria was overwhelmed with joy but also saddened that her time with Samantha was coming to a close.
“I’m happy they, found your brother” said Samantha trying not to cry.
“Thank, you and I’m so happy he’s alive. I want to hug him and never let him go” said Maria overjoyed with excitement and not telling Samantha the other things she wants to do to him.
“Go, to him and you will always be my, best friend” said Samantha knowing Maria would want to go to him.
“Thank you, I do want to see him again. I’ll arrive in Pouncefield on the day of the play and surprise him afterwards” said Maria not wanting to distract him during all that rehearsal.
“I’ll arrange the train ticket, for you and he’ll be quite happy to see you again. We haven’t told anyone yet and figured it would be best, if you did it” said the fox.
The fox left after Maria signing some things and the two girls knew there day’s together were coming to an end. The night before the train leaves from Saith Samantha stunk up the bed really badly with a spray.
“I’ll never be intimate with a skunk ever” thought Maria while coughing a lot from the smell.
The day of the train back to Pouncefield Maria and Samantha were both crying as they said their goodbyes to each other while promising to keep in contact with each other over messenger. After Maria stepped on the train and waved goodbye as it started speeding off in the distance. Foxkat’s organization approached Samantha to give her some information and warned her about with Maria heading to.
Maria arrived in Pouncefield and asked directions to the school where the play was happening. She got lost a few times and eventually got there ten minutes before opening curtain. She sat in the backrow where she couldn’t be seen but she did see her mother from sitting seven rows ahead. Maria saw something that she couldn’t believe what just happened.
