These are only 2 of the other animated mouse cursors that I edited/made. I have more but I didn't bother to make more gifs since the 2 test images worked so well, so I figured I would show these here since i can multi-upload on this site^^

I might put a link to the actual animated cursors later.

Hehe, awesome cursors! I used to be really big on skinning. Reminds me of good times. :-)

Thank you! My only regret is that I couldn't make them the same size as this x3 I've never heard of skinning before though but based on the link it looks like computer skins right? I may have to look into that to make a theme for my PC at least once^^

Thanks for commenting by the way ^^

Yeah - when I was working at Stardock we saw people doing total conversions where you'd modify everything it was possible to modify, and several other things which required special software (provided by us) to do. Good times.

Oh that's pretty cool! Is the company still around or no?

Yep! Here's their site - I haven't really kept in touch (it's been a while since I worked there - they basically traded me along with part of the company to GameStop), but they're still doing the same mix of games and applications.

Oh ok then, that's interesting! how do you like your new job compared to Stardock? I hope they are treating you well?

They decided they didn't want to do the thing they bought after a couple of years, and laid me off, after using it as leverage to extract a discount on Steam cards at their stores. But it paid well!

Now I work myself through the small hours of Sunday running Inkbunny.
Pay's not as good (like... anything) - but the fringe benefits are great!

Oh wow  that's too bad...laying off people is never a good thing but I'm glad you managed to turn it around and get something(you like?) for yourself! Oh wow I just realized that you were an admin here after you said that xD  My bad, I didn't mean to keep you from doing what you need to, but thanks for taking some time to talk with me, I appreciate it ^^

But anyways I hope you get the most out of your job here!

It's OK, the good part is I get to decide what I need to do. ;-)

And I got technical matters sorted earlier on, just handling some tickets and suchlike now. Plus enjoying several streams! And yes, I'm always learning something new.

Oh ok, that's pretty cool! I bet it's pretty nice to be able to do that x3 I hope that one day I could be in a position to do something like that with my artwork!

That doesn't sound too bad, I mean I know how some people can be but I'm sure for that for the most part it's not too bad, plus its always good to be able to have fun while working of course and to not have someone over you all the time xD  It's great that  you are able to learn new things while working here, you never know when that might be useful after all^^

There are artists who make a living from it, for sure - including a few here. Some eventually move on to other topics; others stick around and start doing book deals and suchlike; some just keep on taking commissions. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work (and it's best not to quit your day job straight away), but it can be done.

Oh yeah I'm sure there are quite a few people that do, and i know it's pretty hard work as well but i'm no stranger to that xD

You don't gotta worry about me quitting my day job or anything because I have pretty good health benefits there but i want to get to the point to where i would only have to work  the 2 hour shift( good exercise)  and if things go well i can look at other options. but for now, i'm just gonna take my time and post some stuff for now^^
