(IR) stands for Ink Rendering.
The finished, final look to the Cooler Trolling pictures. I rendered the body mainly with ink brush pens and fixed of other parts of the body, mainly the jewel things on his head, arms and leg, with some finer detailing with a thin ink pen. The pens and brush pens used are the Faber-Castile brand. ^\/^.
Since even the lightest gray of my brush pens I found to be too dark, I rendered the white parts of his armor with a 2H pencil, also from Faber-Castile.
I then digitally cleaned this picture before I even digitally improved and cleaned the other two pictures. I found the tip of the tail to be a bit off and subsequently moved it via a copy and paste, then using an soft edged eraser to remove a bit of the white around the new layer to better blend into the picture and leave no potential sharp edges indicating the layer.
I then added the word balloons, adding an insult that I worked on that not only sounds, well, cool, but also one that Lord Cooler would likely say. At least in an English version. Not sure if the insults are different in the Japanese version of the character with all the translation errors and occasional changing of lines to suit the style of western audiences. It took a bit of sizing the letters and word balloons to not only be readable, but also not take up so much space. ^\/^.
