An evil clone of Griff. Anyone who has seen the Gargoyles cartoon show knows about that mad scientist / world leading geneticist guy. One day I thought while in class I saw a show on youtube with him in it and thought where does one go to learn that stuff, be leading, and suffer a little psychoses. Then I thought what if that guy had a professor in college who was a former Nazi and, considering the guys age, took his classes in the late sixties. From my knowledge of history I know that the US employed former Nazi scientists for various things. What if his professor was a world leading geneticist of his time and a Nazi scientist on one of those Uber Soldat programs they had. And Griff, before the events in MIA managed to get in a fight or something with an experimental Uber Soldat made from the Nazi scientist. The thing being defeated, of course, the guy comes along and collect DNA from Griff that he naturally had to experiment on and noted that gargoyles are better fighters. As such the first clone of a gargoyle is of Griff and was nearly completed when the lab was attacked and the scientist put into US / French Resistance custody. The lab was thought destroyed and buried without knowledge to the captors of the clone. After decades of stasis while being fed subconsciously Nazi propaganda and the usual loyalty to the Third Reich, he comes out of stasis during a dig at a construction site in the year 2017. After mercilessly killing all the workers, save the "pure race" ones who reported the attack, he sets out to attack England which was the only order the Nazi scientist managed to give him while in stasis. He still believes in the Third Reich despite evidence to the contrary of history. One of his first major battles in England was with, you guessed it, Griff. The clone being about a foot taller than the original with a slightly larger brain and seven times the strength and better reflexes initially beats the snot out of Griff. Unfortunately for the clone, being only nearly complete, had trouble with a hyper metabolism and an aorta a little too big and dies of a heart attack just before nearly killing Griff and falls into the Thames. Not bad though for a first try in genetic cloning and improvement, with Nazi occult magic, which also gave the clone the ability to not be affected by the sun that would normally turn him into stone. That part also meant he could not heal as fast though. And even though he started out at seemingly the same age as Griff at the time of World War 2 he did not age while in stasis and seemed a bit younger looking than Griff when he finally awoke.
