In an effort to get out of my habit of turning everything blue, I told my friend to pick out a color palette for me to work with. He sent me a few, and I chose this to start:

Through the power of brushes and layer settings, I have MANY more hues on the image than that palette, but the color picker was never on a color outside the palette.

So here we have a copper dragon. I don't draw copper enough, and have never drawn tarnished copper before, so this was good practice.

I still can't tree.
