´╗┐Rafael’s tale
chapter two

        After the restaurant, Kora made his best effort to drive in a slow pace. Brasília, the city they happen to live in, was usually quiet after midnight. The preparations for the New Year’s show where all set up, even some christmas light were there to be seen one last time. It was sure memorable.
        The wolf caretaker asked for a midnight snack on the closest Drive-thru he could find, and head home. He opened a door with Rafael still asleep on his arms. It was a nursery, prepared with all necessary baby props, mobile and toys. He was about to place the dalmatian puppy on the crib, but he felt a quite horrible smell first.

“Ewww! I think someone needs another diaper change.” - He said after sniff the puppy properly. - “You’re either a stinker, or maybe it just was your tummy. It was quite bloated, your parents need to watch out for what they feed you!”

        He placed little Rafael on the changing table, a tall one with blue and yellow details. He opened the two frontal tapes, wiped carefully, add some baby powder and anti-rash cream just for safety. He pulled the old diaper and replaced with a new one, with old Mac Donald’s farm animals, ABC’s and 123’s designs stamping the colorful padding.

“That should do the trick. The little one was lucky I had one last size 3 diaper on the stock.” - He said with proud but not loudly. - “I will need more diapers for sure, maybe I should stick with size 2, this puppy is probably around 20 lbs or less”. - Kora thought.

        The adult wolf placed the cub in a comfortable crib. Shut down the protection net and gave a kiss of good night. He couldn’t resist. And head the other room and sat in the front of the computer. Kora would had the day off tomorrow… He was determined to find Rafael’s parents… Wherever they were.
        He placed his submarine sandwich on the desk.

“Well… Time to navigate a little. If a have any luck… It will be done by sunrise.” - Kora said.

        The wolf searched for anything. Archives of missing children, police reports, social media posts, chat room messages… However, the clock was about to hit 3am and the little toddler was apparently a orphan… With no track of its parents. Kora gave the last sip of his coffee, and last bit of his sandwich, losing his hopes.

“Man… This kiddo is apparently orphan.” - Kora scratched the back of his head - “Although… He does look quite different… Maybe, he is a rare species?”

        Kora did a research on little Rafael’s physical aspects… It wasn’t like anything he happened to see recently. When he finally ended up his research however, he found out something he was surely surprised with: Rafael was a orphan of an entire species.
        “Brazillis dalmatian” is how it species was commonly addressed. It appears that many disappeared due to a disease on South America, regarding most of those Dalmatians lived in Brazil as the name may suggest, many ended up infected and eventually died. Some were horribly sold as slavery labor. It appears that surprisingly until the 90’s only 100 member of the species were properly registered.
        Nowadays… There is no records.

“This doesn’t make any major sense… If the stories about his species were true… This kiddo might be the last on his species…” - Kora self wondered.  - “I have never been so unsure in my life… He might as well be a puppy from a couple of Golden Retrievers… But that doesn’t explain the blue nose… Either the colored spots in green… He is far too young for any surgery of that type.” - The wolf check his possibilities.

“I know!” - He picked a form on his desk. I’ll make a DNA test tomorrow, let’s see what it shows…” - Kora said and yawned. - “Maybe… I should also get some sleep.” - He said, and finally lined down for a rest.

~~~
        It was 5:00 am, and the puppy finally woke up.
“Oh my god… My head hurts…” - He said.
        His vision was surely blurry, it didn’t helped the only source of light in the room was the ‘security light’ from Sesame Street. A few minutes and he was able to visualize what he was surrounded by: a crib. That sure feel odd to say the least, Rafael was a little happy… After all, he was a fan of the baby treatment… But he didn’t remembered owning that piece of furniture. Also… How could it be so big?
“That’s odd… I’ve never been on ABDL crib before, but… I don’t think they can possibly be this big. Heck! I can’t reach the bears! Those are insane proportions even for a adult sized prop!” - Rafael said to himself.
        He  tried his best to get out, but it wasn’t really effective. On his last attempt however, he feel on his butt, feeling a ‘mushy’ sensation, followed by an awful smell. The pup took a good look around his waist, and noticed a quite different diaper from what he was used to use.
        For instance, the diaper was actually a recognizable baby brand: Pampers. Not any ABDL wannabe, not a generic adult brand… Just a plain common baby dry size 3.
“Oh my gosh!” - He freaked out. - “Now I remember what happened! I became a actual baby! I regressed! Holy smokes!” - He thought. - “This is both pretty exciting and… Well… Pretty scary… I mean, how is this even remotely possible? I literally physically regressed into toddlerhood”. - He was confused.
        The smell was familiar through…
“Eww… I know this sensation well…” - He closed his eyes embarrassed - “ I pooped didn’t I? The worst part of it… I can’t reach the shower or take the diaper off”. - He sighed. - “I may be… Or I was… Okay, I AM incontinent… But at least I could change myself  at will around adulthood!” - He exclaimed.
The puppy felt really helpless and rather annoyed by the dirty diaper. He reached the point where the only way out was crying… And that’s essentially what he did. He was tearing and with his cheeks slightly red… This time however, it was expontaneous. Not just made up cry in a ageplay session.
Kora then woke up. He didn’t spoke a word, and proceed to help the infant in need. He picked the little one, and gently rocked him back and forth. This calmed him down, so the next step was the change.
Rafael just stared at the friendly “giant” changing his diaper.
“This feel so good!” - The puppy thought sucking his thumb. - “It’s even better than my actual fantasies… A little creepy through… But I don’t feel frightened at all.” - Rafael thought to himself.
“Agah bah” - Said the puppy loudly. That was a lovely but yet failed attempt to say ‘Thank you’ for Kora. The grown up wolf was rather tired, but he managed to listen the infant with smille.
“I’m not sure what you’re trying to say little one… But that felt truly generous. Thank you.” - Kora replied.
The wolf looked at the watch. 6 o’clock was the time. He picked the now changed infant and applied him some clothing, for instance: a red shirt, a patterned diaper cover, a pair of the smallest all stars in classic crimson, and of course: a pacifier with matching colors. Not to mention the coat, after all it was a cold morning.
        Rafael wasn’t a huge fan of pacifiers… Back in adulthood at least. They caused or at least used to, severe damage to his teeths. But now that he was no more than a infant… That wasn’t a concern any more. He barely had any teeth to worry with. So, he just suckled his pacifier with joy.
“Good to see that you’re relaxed little one.” - Kora said. - “We are going to visit a pediatrician”. - He concluded.
        That however… Made Rafael a little uncomfortable.
“Great… I am both wet… And sweating… But for which reason?” - Questioned the infant to himself.  - “Jesus Christ. If there is one singular thing I used to hate on my early days… That thing was… Medics.” - He remembered. - “This is going to be a long day.” - He said.
