So it's been almost 2 weeks since i last uploaded... well thats because I finally got Pokemon Crystal for the VC recently so i've been plunging my time onto that. (especially finding that Bastard Raikou :shakefist:) In fact i didn't learn of this information until earlier today. so naturally as a big user of Pikachu i jumped right onto designing a sketch and then this Custom sprite set based on the recently revealed concept that Pikachu was to have a 3rd Evolution.

An evolution that had remained hidden for over 20 years. It's incredible electrical charge has the power to even shatter the earth.
When designing my interpretation. I wanted to keep it to Gen I levels of simplicity but with enough variance to make it slightly different then Raichu. It's longer body reflects this design choice to make it look more mature and swifter then it's chubbier prevo. The reason it's in gen II Crystal style rather then Gen I is because well... playing Pokemon Crystal was a big influence.
